Kristen Norris belted a two-run homer to lead the Misericordia University softball team to a 3-2 win over Swarthmore at the ECAC South championships, Saturday morning at Washington and Jefferson College.
Lindsay Miller, Nicole Wenner and Ashley Ballard all added two hits as the Cougars improved to 33-12 and advanced to the winner's bracket final.
Kat Lucenti scattered seven hits to pick up the win.
The Cougars grabbed a 1-0 in the bottom of the first on Nicole Hoskins' two-out single.
Swarthmore took a 2-1 lead with runs in the top of the second and third.
Miller led off the bottom of the third with a single and Norris put the Cougars in front for good with a two-out homer.
The Cougars will face Washington & Jefferson winner at 5:00 p.m.
