Led by captains Dom DelPrete and Marcus Little, the Misericordia University men's basketball team will open the 2009-10 season with a midnight practice session, Thursday, October 15.
Del Prete, a senior forward, is a three-year letterman and two-year starter at forward.
He averaged 12.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game a year ago and was named to the All-Tournament team at the season-opening Laurel Line Tournament.
Little, a senior, is a three-year starter at point guard.
He led the team with 3.1 assists per game and a 77.3 free throw percentage last year while averaging 8.0 ppg.
The Cougars open the season when they host Centenary, November 16 at 7:00.
