Frank Redmond earned first-team All-MAC honors to lead the Misericordia University men's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the MAC Championships, Saturday at DeSales.

Redmond (28:00) finished ninth on the 8K course while Pat Noonan (28:49) was 26th.

Ryan Garges (29:39) was 39th and Kyle Suponcic (30:02) was 47th.

Brent Salsman (30:20) rounded out MU's top five in 52nd.

Anthony Powell (31:05), Corey Byrd (31:08) and Jeff Huss (31:14) were 65th-67th, respectively.

John Gibbons (31:34) was 72nd and Brian O'Neill (33:14) and Martin Castaldi (33:15) were 88th and 89th, respectively.

The Cougars will compete at the Mid-east Regional Championships, November 14 at Lehigh.
