In an effort to bring the best swimming techniques to Misericordia University, MU swimming coach Jason Morini recently visited Charlotte, NC where he met with legendary coach David Marsh.

Marsh is coaching Team Elite Carolina after winning 12 NCAA Championships during his 17-tenure as head coach at Auburn University.

During his trip to North Carolina, Morini had the opportunity to observe two practices and meet privately with Marsh.

"I want to offer our swimmers the very best training possible," said Morini.  "This was an opportunity to share strategies with one of the best swimming coaches in the world."

Morini is anxious to apply the knowledge at MU.

"I had hoped to learn about stroke techniques, but came away with so much more, including strategies for taking our program to the next level, " said Morini.  "I'm looking forward to our season."
