The Misericordia University cheerleaders finished ninth of 16 teams at the Universal Cheerleaders Association semifinals, January 15-17 at the Disney World Wide World of Sports Complex.

Competing against Division II and III schools, the Cougars missed advancing to the finals by 7/10 of a point.

MU received a perfect score for their crowd highlight video submission and ranked seventh in the skills section in the preliminary round.
