Misericordia University men's basketball standout Dom Del Prete (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) has been named to the All-Freedom Conference team.

A senior forward, Del Prete was a first-team selection after leading the Cougars to the Freedom Conference championship game.

He was third in the Freedom in scoring (16.9 ppg), 10th in rebounding (5.2 rpg) and seventh in steals (1.4).

In 27 games, he was MU's leading scorer 15 times while scoring in double figures in all but one game. He was the team's top rebounder in nine games.

He had Misericordia's top six single-game scoring totals, including a career-high 28 points against Delaware Valley.

In addition, he scored his 1,000th career point and led the Cougars to a 16-11 record and an ECAC playoff berth.
