The Misericordia University baseball team will open the 2012 season with a doubleheader at eight-ranked Shenadoah, Saturday.

The Cougars are coming off a 30-16 season that included a Freedom Conference championship and a trip to the winner's bracket final of the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.
