Misericordia University women's tennis standout
Michelle Cameron (Montgomery, PA/Montgomery has been named the Wendy's Misericordia University Female Athlete of the Month for April while
Evan Robaczewski (Plymouth, PA/Wyoming Valley West) and
Patrick Johnson (Montville, NJ/Montville Twsp.) shared the men's award.
Cameron, a junior, was 6-3 at first singles while the leading the Cougars to a 9-2 record during the month. She was 8-2 at number two doubles as Misericordia clinched a Freedom Conference post-season berth.
Robaczewski, a senior pitcher, was 3-0 with a 0.41 earned run average in four appearances. He had one complete game and was part of two combined shutouts.
He struck out 28 batters in 22 innings while holding opponents to a .118 batting average.
Johnson, a sophomore goalkeeper, was 4-2 with a 5.82 goals against average during the month. He had a .698 save percentage while leading the Cougars to the second seed in the Freedom Conference championships.
