2009 Men’s Golf
The Cougars finished 9-3 during the regular season and were sixth in their first appearances at the Freedom Conference championships.
Bucky Aeppli shot 80-82 and finished seventh at the Freedom Conference Championships.
Aeppli was the team MVP and second-team All-Freedom.
Bryan Marzolino led the team in scoring average at 81.5- the third lowest in school history.
Aeppli shot a 75 at Wilkes- the fifth lowest round in school history.
Senior Andy Smith earned the Coach’s Award- he shot a career-best 80 at Wilkes.
2008 Men's Golf
Under fourth-year coach Tim Foran, the Cougars were 6-10 and finished fourth at the PAC Championships.
Ryan Beliveau led the team in scoring with an 82.9 average--fourth-best in school history.
Mike Green shot 82-80 and finished eighth at the PAC Championships to earn second-team All-PAC honors.
Beliveau and Seth Shober both shot a season-low 77.
Shober was named team MVP, and Beliveau earned the Coach's Award.
Beliveau finished fourth in school history with an 85.3 career average.
2007 Men's Golf
The Cougars finished 3-6 overall and placed sixth at the PAC championships.
Ryan Beliveau led the team in scoring (83.6) and finished seventh at the PAC championships to earn second-team All-PAC status.
He was the team MVP, while Matt Zernhelt, the lone senior on the team, earned the Coach's Award.
2006 Men's Golf
The Cougars showed marked improvement in their second season under head coach Tim Foran.
CM finished 6-4-1 and were fourth at the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championships.
Matt Zernhelt was the team MVP after leading the team in scoring average at 85.1.
Ryan Beliveau (79, 81) was the team’s top finisher at the PAC championships in eighth place. He received the Coach’s Award for the second straight season.
Zernhelt had the team’s low round for the season with a 77 against Lycoming.
Joey Ciattei was the only senior on the team and was honored as a four-year letterman.
The Cougars return their top five scorers: Zernhelt, Mike Green (86.7), Beliveau (87.0), Colin Hynes (89.2) and Andy Smith (90.5).
2005 Men's Golf
In their first season under head coach Tim Foran, the Cougars were 4-6 and finished fifth in the PAC Championships. The Cougars also moved their home matches from Shadowbrook to the Irem Temple CC and W-B Muni.
Freshman Ryan Beliveau (84, 89) was the team's top finisher at the PAC Championships. He finished 17th.
Freshman Steve Osterhout led the team with an 84.4 average. He had the team's low round of the year with a 77.
Freshman Colin Hynes was second on the team in scoring (84.8) and was 21st in the PAC.
Osterhout was the team MVP, while Beliveau received the Coach's Award.
Ryan McGee was the only senior on the team.
2004 Men's Golf
In the final season for coaches Arnie Garinger and Jack Hoover, the Cougars were 4-8 and finished sixth in the PAC Championships. Garinger missed the season due to an illness. In his absence, Dave Martin assisted coach Hoover.
Steve Poremba (84) was the team's top finisher at the rain-shortened PAC Championships. He finished 14th.
Jason Moore and Joey Ciattei tied for 20th with 86, and Matt Zernhelt (89) was 28th.
Moore led the team in scoring average with 86.7. He had the team's low round of the year with a 79.
Moore was the team MVP, and Ciattei earned the Coach's Award.
2003 Men's Golf
The Cougars were 2-5 and finished sixth in the PAC Championships.
Jason Moore was the team's top finisher at the PAC Championships. He finished 17th (84-89-173). Scott Napkori was 18th with 174.
Moore led the team in scoring average (84.7) and had the team's low round of the year with 80.
Moore was the team MVP, and Napkori received the Coach's Award.
Napkori, Efrain Solis and Tom Zeiser were all seniors.
2002 Men's Golf
The Cougars were 6-7 and finished fifth in the PAC Championships.
Chris Wade was the team's top finisher. He finished 15th (84-92-176).
Scott Napkori was 16th (177), and Jeff Magda was 18th (179).
Napkori led the team in scoring average (84.8) and had the team's low round of the year with a 78.
Napkori was the team MVP, and Wade earned the Coach's Award.
Wade, Magda, Andy Kaminsky, Mike Tarola and Tom Zeiser were all seniors.
2001 Men's Golf
The Misericordia golf team finished third at the PAC Championships, breaking their streak of top-two PAC finishes (8).
Scott Napkori shot 78-78 to finish second overall at the PAC Championships.
Napkori led the team in scoring average with 82 and had the team's low round of the year with 77 in the season-opening tournament.
Bill Dessoye and Bob Shoemaker also had rounds in the 70's.
Napkori earned first-team All-PAC honors, while Dessoye made the second-team.
Napkori was the team MVP, and Efrain Solis received the Coach's Award.
2000 Men's Golf
The Cougars finished second at the PAC Championships to extend their streak of top-two finishes to eight years.
John Cave led the team in scoring average with 81.4, while Scott Napkori had the team's low round of the year with a 74.
Cave and Napkori earned All-PAC honors.
Cave was the team MVP, while Bill Dessoye received the Coach's Award.
1999 Men's Golf
The Cougars finished second at the PAC Championships for the seventh time.
Freshman John Cave led the team in scoring with an 85 average, while Randy Longenberger had the team's low round of the year with an 80.
Cave earned All-PAC status.
Longenberger was the team MVP, and Ben Augustine received the Coach's Award.
1998 Men's Golf
The Cougars hosted the PAC Championships and won their second PAC title. They extended their streak of top-two finishes to six years.
Bill Dessoye had the teams low round of the year with a 77 in his first match. He led the team with an 86.38 average.
Randy Longenberger (82), Dessoye (84) and Matt Lawney (86) earned All-PAC status.
Arnie Garinger and Jack Hoover were named Coach of the Year.
Longenberger was the team MVP, while Bob Wintling received the Coach's Award.
1997 Men's Golf
The Misericordia golf team set a new school record for victories (11-6). By virtue of their second place showing at the PAC Championships, the Cougars extended their streak of top-two PAC finishes to five.
Freshman Tom Klimek was second at PAC's (78) and led the team with a 79.8 average.
Bob Tugned earned All-PAC honors.
Klimek was the team MVP, while Ben Augustine received the Coach's Award.
Senior David Bull was recognized as a four-year letterman.
1996 Men's Golf
The Cougar's 9-2 dual meet record was the second best in school history. The Cougars also finished in the top-two in the PAC Championships for the fourth straight year.
Senior Jim Reynolds (78) and freshman Randy Longenberger (79) were second and third at PAC's. CM hosted the Championships for the first time.
Reynolds was the team MVP, while Longenberger won the Coach's Award.
1995 Men's Golf
The 1995 season was one of the greatest in the six-year history of the sport and College Misericordia. The team's 10-2 record set a new school record for victories in a season. They opened with seven consecutive victories.
The team finished in the top two in the PAC Championships for the third straight season.
Senior Chris Mathews finished fifth in the PAC Chamionships and was named team MVP for the third time in his career.
1994 Men's Golf
The Cougars finished the season with a 2-7 record but claimed five all conference places in the PAC Championships.
Tony Segin, a four year-letter man, was fourth in the PAC tournament, leaving the Cougars with four returning all conference performers for next season.
Junior Chris Mathews was the team MVP after averaging 83.2 for the year.
1993 Men's Golf
In their first season of competition in the PAC and just their third year of varsity action, the Cougars placed second in their first PAC tournament.
Five players were named All-Conference.
