2009 Men’s Track and Field
Frank Redmond finished second at 800m at the ECAC Championships and qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Redmond was third at 800m and fifth at 1500m at the MAC Championships.
Redmond was the men’s team MVP while Pat Blaskiewicz earned the Coach’s Award.
2008 Men's Track and Field
The Cougars completed at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships for the first time.
Eric Rogers set a school record in the long jump and qualified for the NCAA Championships.
Rogers placed in three events at the MAC Indoor championships.
Jude Schappert placed in four events at the MAC's.
Jim Post won the ECAC championship and set a school record in the triple jump.
Vitaliy Doboni (pole vault), Artie Pupa (hammer), Frankie Redmond (800m) and Ryan Garges (3000 SC) all set school records.
Schappert was named men's MVP, and Dave Verzella earned the Coach's Award.
2007 Men's Track and Field
Chris Wadas completed his first season as head coach at his alma mater.
Eric Rogers set a school record and earned All-ECAC status in the long jump.
Jeff Ward set school records at 800m and 1500m, and Chris Cimei set a school record in the pole vault.
Rogers was the team MVP, while Jude Schappert earned the Coach's Award.
2006 Men's Track and Field
The Cougars made their first appearance at the Mason-Dixon Conference Championships and had seven athletes earn all-conference status.
Ryan Kearney (shot put, javelin), Jeff Ward (800m, 4x400m), Brandon Jayne (4x400m, 4x100m), Eric Rogers (4x400m, 4x100m, long jump), Brian Osborne (4x100m, 4x400m, 400m), Jim Post (4x100m, triple jump) and Jude Schappert (high jump) achieved all-conference honors.
Post was All-ECAC in the triple jump.
Ward was the team MVP, and Jayne received the Coach's Award.
Ward (800m, 1500m), Rogers (triple jump) and Kearney (shot put) set school records.
Jayne, Post, Rogers and Osborne set a school record in the 4x100m while Jayne, Rogers, Ward and Osborne set a new mark in the 4x400.
2005 Men's Track and Field
In their fifth varsity season, MU had its third coach in Brandon Uhl.
CM hosted the second annual "Narkiewicz Invitational" in honor of former assistant coach, Ed Narkiewicz.
Jeff Ward set a school record at 800m (1:59.58) and a new track record at 1500m (4:05.32).
Barry Snyder set a new school record in the 3000 steeple chase (10:08.84).
Ryan Kearney set a school shot put record (40'9-1/2").
Chris Wadas set school records at 5000m (15:22.47) and 10,000m (33:00.44).
Wadas was the team MVP, and Mike Lechniak received the Coach's Award.
Jason Higgins, Justin Sandy, Ryan Sholtes, Lechniak, Snyder and Chris and Nick Wadas were honored as four year lettermen.
2004 Men's Track and Field
In their fourth varsity season, CM hosted the second annual "Misericordia Invitational" at the Anderson Outdoor Athletic Complex. MU also hosted the first "Narkiewicz Invitational" in memory of former assistant coach, Ed Narkiewicz.
Paul Fontana earned All-ECAC honors in the 400 hurdles.
The team set 12 individual school record and one relay record. They also set four individual track records and one relay record.
Fontana was the team MVP, and Chris Wadas received the Coach's Award.
2003 Men's Track and Field
In their third varsity season, MU hosted the first "Misericordia Invitational" at the Anderson Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Mike Yenkowski won the 400m dash at the ECAC championships. He was also All-ECAC in the 100m and 200m (setting school records in both events).
Andre Little earned All-ECAC honors in the long jump, and Chris Wadas was All-ECAC at 10,000m.
The team set 10 individual school records and one relay record.
Yenkowski was the team MVP, while Jeff Dahlgard earned the Coach's Award.
2002 Men's Track and Field
The Cougars completed their second varsity season. Construction began on the Anderson Athletic Complex, the future home of the Misericordia track and field program.
Mike Yenkowski (400m) became the school's first NCAA Track and Field Championship qualifier. He earned All-ECAC at 400m.
Yenkowski, Matt Rogers, Rett Holmes and Jason Higgins represented MU at the 4x400 relay at the Penn Relays.
Yenkowski was the team MVP, while Holmes received the Coach's Award.
2001 Men's Track and Field
The Cougars enjoyed plenty of success in their first varsity season.
Mike Yenkowski was All-ECAC at 400m and joined Matt Rogers, Rett Holmes and Matt Brenner to earn All-ECAC honors at the 4x400m.
The 4x400m team finished first at Lock Haven and Muhlenberg (track record).
Yenkowski finished first in the 400m at Cornell.
Yenkowski was the team MVP, while Brenner earned the Coach's Award.
