Jim Ricardo is in his eighth season as head men's lacrosse coach at Misericordia University.
Under Ricardo, the Cougars set a school record for wins in a season in 2004 and have tied the mark three times since.
Before making the transition to the MAC in 2009, Ricardo led the Cougars to the Pennsylvannia Athletic Conference playoffs three times in his first six seasons.
A graduate of Cortland State University, he previously served as an assistant coach at Virginia Wesleyan College.
During his collegiate playing career, he helped Cortland to a berth in the NCAA Championships.
Prior to that, he was a member of two national championship teams at Herkimer Community College where the team set a national record with 59 consecutive wins.
In addition to his coaching duties, Ricardo serves as the athletics equipment manager at Misericordia.
