Heather put the College Misericordia athletic department on the map when she became the school’s first NCAA All-American.
She accomplished the feat in the 100 breaststroke as a senior in 1997. A year earlier, she was the first CM student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
At the time of her graduation, she held 10 school records. She is CM’s assistant coach and still owns four school records.
