Misericordia University Athletics

McDonnell, a standout women’s basketball player, joins her sister Kathleen Masterson as the only siblings to be inducted into the Misericordia Athletics Hall of Fame.

McDonnell was a four-year letter-winner as a defensive guard. Her playmaking abilities set the stage for Misericordia’s frontcourt and helped the team to three consecutive one-loss seasons in the late 1950’s.

She was a team co-captain as a senior.
