The Misericordia University softball team split its final two games at the Rebel Spring Games, Friday.
The Cougars dropped the opener to Rhode Island College, 7-3, and won the nightcap again Beloit, 5-4, in nine innings.
Nicole Hoskins had three hits and two RBI against Rhode Island and
Courtney Novajosky added a pair of hits.
Kristen Norris had three hits against Beloit, including the game-winning in the bottom of the ninth.
Novajosky had two more hits to make a winner of
Kat Lucenti, who struck out six and scattered seven hits.
MU is 5-5 overall.
