The Misericordia University softball team advanced to the title game of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championships with an 8-0 win over Gwynedd-Mercy, Sunday morning at Anderson Field.

MU scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game and reach the PAC finals for the 13th straight season where they will meet Neumann.

Nicole Wenner drove in three runs and Katie Eiden tossed a four-hitter to lead MU.

Misericordia went ahead 3-0 in the third inning on homers by Wenner and Sarnak.

The Cougars added a run in the fourth before tallying four times in the sixth.

Wenner had two hits, including a solo homer. She added a sacrifice fly and had an RBI-double to end the game.

Eiden had one struck out in six innings while picking up the win.

Gina Urbon and Lindsay Miller had two hits each and Hollie Sarnak belted a two-run homer.
