Nick Steyn of Jackson, NJ has been named assistant sports information director at Misericordia University, according to David Martin, director of athletics.

Steyn most recently served as the public and media relations assistant with the Camden Riversharks Baseball Organization of the Atlantic League.

He holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina where he served as a sports reporter for The Daily Gamecock.

He earned a degree in English from Richard Stockton College.
