Brassington Dome

The Brassington Dome serves as an off-season training home for the Misericordia University athletics teams.

The facility includes a full field with an artificial grass surface lined for football, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse.

The dome also includes batting cages for baseball and softball.

Dedicated in October 2024, the on-campus facility is named in honor of Jonathan Brassington '95 and the late Linda Zebrowski Brassington '98 .

A cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met, the Misericordia physical therapy alumna lived a life of hope, love, caring, and resilience.

Passing in 2024 after a courageous 15-year battle with breast cancer, her commitment to helping others shone most brightly through her role as a Board Member of Living Beyond Breast Cancer and as a former member of the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center Leadership Council.

The Philadelphia native's legacy lives on through her husband and their beloved sons, Luke Robert and Cole Jonathan Brassington.

An athletics standout, Linda was the starting right fielder on Misericordia's 1994 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) championship softball team that went 27-5, and earned the school's first Eastern Conference Athletics Conference tournament berth.

She earned greater accolades as a point guard for the women's basketball team from 1993-1997, helping the Cougars to four straight PAC playoff appearances. She was named second-team All-PAC as a senior, and at the time of her passing, ranked in Misericordia's top ten in career assists, free throws, steals, single-season assists, and single-season free throws made.

The Brassington family's love for Linda and dedication to Misericordia is evidenced through their generous support of this multi-purpose dome which will serve student-athletes for generations to come.
