Both Misericordia basketball teams are home tonight for match-ups against conference rival King's College.

The women's team is 1-4 (0-1 Freedom) after dropping its first conference game to DeSales.

The Lady Monarchs are 3-5 (2-1) after a 66-63 win over Alvernia Monday night.

The men's team is 5-3 (0-1) after a loss in its first conference game against DeSales on Dec. 6. The Cougars' men's team is 3-9 all-time against King's.

But the Monarchs are just 4-4 (0-3) after dropping four consecutive games, including conference losses to Wilkes, FDU-Florham and Alvernia.

The Monarchs have won the last five games against Misericordia. This is the first Freedom Conference meeting between the teams since the Cougars joined the Freedom this season.

The women's game will open the doubleheader at 6 p.m. The men's game tips off at 8 p.m.
