The Misericordia University Cheerleaders participated in the third annual Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network's Buddy Walk, September 15 at Kirby Park.

The Cougar cheerleaders would like to thank the 136 students, faculty members, friends and family members who sponsored them.

The team contributed more than $500 and helped the LCDSN raise nearly $30,000.
