The Misericordia University women's soccer team dropped a 3-2 non-conference decision at Widener, Wednesday night.
Kim Suchoski had a goal and an assist for the Cougars while Laura Roney added a goal and Sam Helmstetter had an assist.
After playing to a 2-2 in the first half, Widener tallied the game-winner in the 79th minute.
Suchoski hit the crossbar at the 5:00 mark and Widener took a 1-0 lead 10 minutes later.
MU grabbed a 2-1 lead with two goals in a 23-second span.
Suchoski tied it when she headed home a cross from Helmstetter at 23:29 and Roney put MU ahead at 23:52.
Widener tied it just two minutes later.
Morgan Myers made seven saves in goal for the Cougars.
The Cougars will look to secure a home Freedom Conference playoff game when they conclude the regular season at King's, Saturday at 5:00.
