The Misericordia University men's swim team will compete at the MAC Championships, Friday-Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.

With eight top seeds, the Cougars are primed to improve on their fourth-place finish at last year's MAC Championships.

Freshman Mitch Finch is the top seed in three events, including the 400 IM and 100 and 200 backstrokes.

Jeff Clark, the defending in the 200 breaststroke, is seeded first in the 100 and 200 breaststroke while Greg Vossler is the top seed in the 50 free.

MU is also seed first in the 200 and 400 medley relays.

Clark is seeded fourth in the 200 IM and Kyle Geier, Nick Cannizzaro, and Eric Schollmeyer are seventh, eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 200 butterfly.

Action begins Friday at noon.
