Lacey DeGraw and her MU teammates will host King's in the Freedom Conference playoffs, Monday.
The Misericordia University women’s basketball team will host King’s College in the opening round of the Freedom Conference playoffs, Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Center.

Misericordia is 13-12 and earned the fourth seed after finishing 8-8 in their first season in the Freedom Conference. King’s, 10-15, also finished 8-8 in league play.

The two teams split the season series with each team winning on their home floor.

Misericordia won 39-34 in December while King’s got a pair of late three-pointers to rally for a 45-44 win earlier this month.

The Cougars are ranked first in scoring defense in the Freedom Conference at 53.4 points per game and were 8-4 at home during the regular season.

King’s is third in the league in three-pointers with 6.1 per game. The Monarchs were 3-9 on the road during the regular season.

Both teams have a go-to scorer in Misericordia’s Lacey DeGraw and the Monarchs’ Kaitlyn Fiorino.

DeGraw leads MU with 16.4 points per game and is closing in on 1,200 points for her career. She is sixth in the Freedom in rebounding (7.6 rpg) and third in field goal percentage.

Fiorino went over the 1,500 point mark Saturday and is tied with DeGraw for fifth in the league at 16.4 points per game. She leads the Freedom with 2.9 three-pointers per game.

MU’s Jesse Robinson is fourth in the league with 2.5 steals per game while Lindsey Sykes is seventh with 3.3 assists per game.

For King’s, Brittany Muscatell is third in assists with 4.3 per game and Julianna Lynott is 11th in rebounding with 7.3 rpg.

Ticket prices for Monday are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for students.

Monday’s winner will advance to Wednesday’s semi-finals at top-seeded DeSales.
