Frank Redmond won the 800m run to highlight the Misericordia University outdoor track & field season opener, Saturday at Widener.

Redmond qualified for the ECAC championships with school record and Danny Curran Invitational meet record (1:55.01).

Ryan Garges was third in the 3000m steeplechase (10:30.46) and Pat Blaskiewicz was eighth in the 10k (34:25.25).
