The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team dropped its season opener to Marymount, 16-6, Tuesday in Myrtle Beach.

Lee Blair led the Cougars attack with two goals and three assists and Sean McGuigan added a pair of goals.

Zach Buckley had a goal and an assist and Seth Swiatkowski scored a goal.

Ryan Kay and James Scott split time in goal with Kay making nine saves and Scott registering 13 stops.

MU will face Gwynedd-Mercy, Saturday in Myrtle Beach.
