Misericordia University softball standout Lindsay Miller (Williamsport, PA/Jersey Shore) has been named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week.

A senior second baseman, Miller was nearly perfect at the plate while leading the Cougars to a sweep of King's.

She hit .833 (5-6) and scored four runs and stole one base.

She was 2-3 with a run scored in a 4-1 win in the opener and went 3-3 with three runs in an 8-4 win in the
nightcap.

MU is 14-10 overall and 7-3 in the Freedom.
