The Misericordia women's basketball team has announced its schedule for the 2009-10 season. MU will be looking to return to the Freedom Conference playoffs after finishing 13-13 in 2008 and losing in the first round to King's.

The Cougars open at home against Lebanon Valley on November 17. They will then travel to Susquehanna to compete in the Pepsi/Weis Markets Tip-Off Tournament on November 21-22. MU will also participate in the Lycoming Classic on January 2-3 where they will face Kean and Liberty League powerhouse St. Lawrence.

MU begins Freedom Conference play with a pair of away contests, at Wilkes on December 2 and at Eastern on December 5.

The Cougars' final two conference games will be in the Anderson Center, as they host King's on February 16 before wrapping up against Manhattanville on February 20.
