Frank Redmond led the Misericordia University men's cross country to a first place finish at the NEPA Invitational, Friday evening at Hollenback Park.

The Cougars had 29 points to win the eight-team event hosted by King's College.

Redmond (19:52) finished second on the 6K course and teammates Pat Blaskiewicz (21:00), Ryan Garges (21:01) and Pat Noonan (21:01) finished fifth through seventh, respectively.

Brent Salsman (21:19) was ninth and Kyle Suponcic (21:39) finished 12th.
