Frank Redmond won the 800m run (1:55.8) to lead the Misericordia University men's track & field team at the MAC Indoor Championships, Saturday at Lehigh.
Redmond teamed with
Kyle Suponcic, John Gibbons and
Marty Castaldi to finish third in the 4x800 relay with a school record (8:14.56).
Sean Ciborowski, Gibbons,
Jeff Salvatore and Redmond set another school record (3:40.54) with a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 relay.
Ciborowski set a school record (8.22) to finish fourth in the 55m hurdles and
Sean Vitale was fourth in the triple jump.
Steve Clemson was seventh in the long jump and joined Vitale,
Nate Bowden and Ciborowski to place sixth in the 4x200 relay.
Vitaliy Doboni finished sixth in the pole vault while Suponcic and
Joe Ardo were eighth 800m and the shot put, respectively.
MU finished seventh of 11 teams in overall standings.
The top three finishers in each event earned first-team All-MAC status while the fourth through sixth-place finishers were second team.
