Misericordia University women's lacrosse player
Emily Foley has been named to the 2010 MAC All-Conference team. Foley, a sophomore, was an Honorable Mention selection.
Foley led Misericordia in scoring this season, totaling 39 goals and three assists for 42 points. She also had 29 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers. Her single-season goal total tied her eighth all-time at Misericordia.
With MU's top two scorers injured, Foley stepped into a more assertive role offensively and flourished. She scored at least a hat-trick in every one of the Cougars' final six games of the season.
Foley scored five times as MU grabbed its first conference victory of the year over Lebanon Valley and then totaled a career-high nine points (7g, 2a) in a tight 17-15 victory over King's, late in the season.
