Kat and Dom Lucenti, twin daughter and son of Thomas and Susan Lucenti of Montrose recently ended their collegiate athletics careers at Misericordia University.

Kat, an Elk Lake graduate, was a four-year starter on the softball team where she helped the team to three consecutive ECAC playoff appearances and two ECAC Championships.

She was the team MVP as a senior after finishing 22-14 with a 2.59 earned run average. She set school single-season records for appearances (39), starts (36) and innings (229.1) and tied the record for wins (22).

Dom, a Montrose product, was a four-year letterman on the men's lacrosse team.

A midfielder, he appeared in all 16 games this year and grabbed 15 groundballs.
