Misericordia University swimming standout Brittany Luzik (Halifax, PA/Halifax) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Swimmer of the Week.
Luzik led MU to wins over Lebanon Valley (136-99) and their first-ever dual meet victory over Albright (143-119). 
She won the 100 fly against Albright in a school record time of 1:00.48, and won the 200 fly (2:20.58).  She swam the fly leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:53.41) and helped the 400 freestyle relay break the pool record in a time of 3:44.43.
She led both the 200 free relay (1:43.46) and 200 medley relay (1:55.07) to wins against Lebanon Valley, while posting a second place finish in the 100 fly
