The Misericordia University women's track and field team has achieved their highest ever ranking after a record breaking performance at the Collegeville Invitational, Saturday.
MU is ranked 6th by the USTFCCA NCAA Division III Regional Team rankings.
The Cougars finished fourth of 15 teams to open the second semester of the indoor track and field season.
Sophomore
Marina Orrson finished second in the 3K while breaking a school record in a ECAC qualifying time of 10:25.22. The team of
Jen Lozier,
Kelsey Cameron,
Bridget Comiskey and
Stephanie Grow also broke a school record when they finished second in the 4x400 in a time of 4:10.33.
The Cougars will be in action again when they travel to East Stroudsburg to race in the DeSchriver Invitational, February 4.
