The Misericordia University women's swim team wrapped up the MAC Championships with a third place finish, Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.
MU had 564.5 points to finish behind Albright (636) and Widener (608).
Senior
Chelsea Mixon ended her career with a third place finish and broke her own school record (54.59) in the 100 free.
Aryn Zimmerman finished eighth in the 100 free finals while
Kiana Ramirez and
Dana Hallam were second and fifth in the consolation heat, respectively.
Beth Karmondy (2:33.6) was fourth in the 200 breaststroke and
Amanda Stammherr (2:33.94) was sixth.
Megan McChesney was fifth in the consolation heat.
Alex Taylor (18:49.05) was sixth in the 1650 free while
Bree Grzech (2:13.49) was sixth in the 200 back.
Brianna Hiltey (2:23.46) was seventh in the 200 fly while
Brittany Luzik (2:24.41) was one place behind.
The Cougars closed out the championships with a school record (3:38.48) as Grzech, Zimmerman, Ramirez and Mixon finished second in the 400 free relay.
