Misericordia University track & field standout Jill Dunn (Hanover Twp, PA/Hanover), has been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Female Athlete of the Month for February while Steve Artzerounian (Vernon, CT/Rockville) and Doug Ranson (Ewing, NJ/Notre Dame) shared the men's honor.

Dunn, a junior, had four top-three finishes at the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and set five school records during the month.

At the MAC's, she was third in the 60m hurdles and triple jump helped the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams to runner-up finishes.

She had four top-four finishes at East Stroudsburg and set three school records at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational.

She was second in the 60m hurdles and triple jump at Susquehanna.

Artzerounian, a junior, led the men's basketball team to a perfect 8-0 month, including MU's first Freedom Conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth.

He averaged 20.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal per game.

Artzerounian had a career-high 30 points in an overtime win against Eastern and he a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) against Wilkes in the Freedom title game.

Ranson, a junior, led the men's swim team to their best finish ever with a second-place showing at the MAC Championships.

He won individual titles in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes and helped the 200 and 400 medley relay teams to MAC crowns as well.

In addition, he finished eighth in the 50 freestyle.
