Misericordia University women's lacrosse standout Melina Juliano (Putnam Valley, NY/Putnam Valley) has been named second team All-Freedom for the 2012 season.

Juliano, a freshman midfielder, scored 56 goals and added 15 helpers for a total of 71 points.  She led the team in both goals and points and scored the fourth most points in a single-season in school history.

She recorded 13 multi-goal games, including an 11 point (7g, 4a) showing against Immaculata on March, 15.

She recorded 110 shots, with 50.9% of them finding the back of the net and 71.8% being on goal. 

Misericordia finished the season with a 6-10 (2-4) record.
