The Misericordia University softball team will play Rowan, Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Championships in the Union, NJ Regional.

Misericordia, 28-15, is making its third trip to the NCAA's after winning its first Freedom Conference championship over the weekend.

The Cougars are seeded sixth in the eight-team field while Rowan is seeded third.  Win or lose, the Cougars will play Friday.

In other first round games, Montclair (#1) will face Baruch (#8), Alvernia (#5) plays TCNJ (#4) and Centenary (#7) takes on Moravian (#2).
