The Misericordia University men's golf team shot a 349 to finish in a tie for 10
th place at the 14-team Moravian Fall Invitational.
Adam DePorter tied for 19
th individually by shooting an 81 to lead the Cougars. Junior
Jordan Wollenberg was second best on the squad with an 86, while senior
Matt Wiater and
Nick Kenna each shot 91 on the day to round out the scoring.
Alvernia finished first in the team competition with a 307. Alvernia's Casey Osborne earned the tiebreaker win over Centenary's Steve Kluemper based on a scorecard comparison, which both competitors shooting a 71.
The Cougars continue their fall season on Wednesday when they travel to DeSales.
