Jeff Slanovec finished second and earned Rookie of the Year honors to lead the Misericordia University men's golf team to a third place finish at the Freedom Conference championships, Saturday at Hershey Country Club.

Slanovec shot a 77 to finish with a two-day total of 158.

Leo Moran shot an 83 and finished tied for 16th at 169.

Jordan Wollenberg shot 84 and tied for 22nd at 171 and Adam DePorter tied for 24th with an 173 total after shooting 86 on Sunday.
