Misericordia University's James Hawk (Springville, PA/Tunkhannock) has been named the Freedom Conference men's basketball Player of the Week.

Hawk, a sophomore, had his first career double-double in the opening round of the College of Staten Island Tournament of Heroes.

He had 12 points and 10 rebounds and added two blocked shots while shooting 62% from the floor.
