Amanda Stammherr won the 100 breaststroke to lead a one-two-four finish for the Misericordia University women's swim team, Saturday at the MAC Championships.
Stammherr (1:07.02) was followed by teammates
Dani Blass (1:07.85) and
Allison Thomas (1:09.86).
Bree Grzech finished second in the 100 back (59.65) while
Leah Davis was 10th and
Megan DiPalo and
Taylor Grenier both placed in the top-16.
Brittany Luzik broke her own school record (57.89) while finishing third in the 100 fly and Grenier was 10th.
Bethh Karmondy set a school record with a fourth-place showing in the 400 IM (4:50.87) and
Kerri Ciriello was ninth.
Dana Hallam finished seventh in the 200 free (2:00.39).
DiPalo,
Aryn Zimmerman, Luzik and Grzech finished second in the 200 free relay (1:39.99) while setting a new Graham Aquatic Complex pool record.
Misericordia is in second place with 367 points. Messiah leads the 10-team filed with 390 points and Albright is third at 311.
The event concludes Sunday.
