The Misericordia University women's basketball team will resume play when they travel to Columbus, OH for the Marriott Columbus Airport Tournament, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 29-30.
The Cougars will face host Capital in the tournament opener, Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. and will play Allegheny/Calvin, Wednesday.
Misericordia is 3-6 following three consecutive tough losses. The Cougars haven't played since a 57-51 loss at Marywood two weeks ago.
Capital is 8-2 following a 91-70 win over John Carrol a week ago.
Twelfth-ranked Calvin is 7-2 after losing to top-ranked Thomas More, Dec. 19.  Allegheny has won four straight games and enters the tournament at 6-3.
Junior center Justin Seely leads MU in scoring and rebounding with 14.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. First-year forward
Rachel Carmody adds 11.0 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while classmate
Liz Waleski adds 9.6 ppg.
