The Misericordia University women's tennis team advanced to the Freedom Conference championship match with a 5-2 win over King's, Wednesday.
Nellie Chmil and
Linsey Parks were double-winners for the Cougars while Madeline Griffin won twice for King's.
Chmil teamed with
Carly Young for an 8-1 at second doubles and won 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles.
Parks joined
Amberlynn Habich for an 8-4 win at third doubles and was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at sixth singles.
Bridget Boyle won 6-2, 6-2 at second singles for MU.
Griffin won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles and teamed with Julia Keppel for an 8-5 win at first doubles.
Misericordia improved to 9-7 and will visit Wilkes for Saturday's Freedom Conference championship match.
