Three members of the Misericordia University football team have named to the All-MAC team, including first-team punter Pat Newins (Levittown, NY/MacArthur).

Sam Johnson (Brookfield, CT/Brookfield) and Alec Rhoads (Lititz, PA/Warwick) earned honorable mention.

Newins, a senior, was named first-team for the second consecutive season.  He finished fourth in the nation with at 44.5 yards per kick while leading the MAC by nearly six yards per kick

He had 19 kicks of 50-plus yards, including a 63-yarder, and had 12 kicks downed inside the 20 yard line.

Johnson, a senior, served as a team captain.  He started all 10 games on the offensive line, primarily at right tackle.  His dependability and versatility were invaluable.

Rhoads, a senior, started all 10 games while splitting time between fullback and tight end.  Serving primarily as a blocker, he had two receptions for 12 yards.  He also had three kickoff returns for 20 yards.
