The Misericordia women's tennis season came to an end, Tuesday afternoon, falling to 11-time defending MAC Freedom Champion Wilkes, 5-0, in the MAC Freedom Semifinals.

Erika Slowicki and Taylor Daton fell at third doubles, 8-3 while the pairings of Allison Mattucci/Carly Young and Linsey Parks/Amberlynn Habich dropped their matches, 8-1.

With doubles matches being done first, the Colonels only needed to win two singles matches, which they did as Jordan Vasarkovy defeated Mattucci and Laura Zielinski took down Slowicki in straight sets. The other four singles matches were not completed as they were not necessary.

The Cougars finish the season at 11-5, the most wins they have had in a season since they had 15 in 2012-13.
