David Martin is the director of athletics at Misericordia University and is serving as interim head coach for women’s basketball for the remainder of the 2011-2012 season.
Martin spent 14 seasons as head men’s basketball coach at Misericordia where he led the Cougars to 11 playoff appearances in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference, including two trips to the championship game.
He coached 27 all-conference players, four all-region players and a two-time All-American while compiling 178 career victories.
He was named PAC Coach-of-the-Year four times.
Albie Biggs, Scott Richardson and Ellen O’Brien are assistant coaches.
