Alec Rodway is a senior member of the Misericordia University men’s basketball team.
A four-year letterman, the Peckville, PA native has appeared in eight games with seven starts. Rodway is averaging 4.0 points per game with 3.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
This season, the former Valley View standout registered his first career double-double with 10 points and 13 assists at Wesley, December 19.
Rodway has been a key contributor in all four seasons with the Cougars. As a first-year student-athlete, the point guard started more than 50-percent of games played while averaging 19.1 minutes per contest with 4.3 points and 2.6 assists.
As a sophomore, Rodway ranked ninth in the MAC Freedom in assists per game (3.2) and tied for the lead in assists/turnover ratio (2.3). The following year, he led the conference in assists/turnover ratio (1.9).
The men’s basketball team has a 7-6 overall record with a 0-2 conference mark. They will wrap-up the regular season with 12 straight games against MAC Freedom opponents.
