Misericordia University Athletics

Erica Haefele and Morgan Haefele are both members of the Misericordia University women’s basketball team.  

A four-year letter-winner, Erica was named to the MAC Freedom Sportsmanship Team in 2020 and has been a team captain since her sophomore year.  

Running the point for the Cougars, she ranked second on the team in assists in 2018-19 and 2019-20.  

The senior from Dickson City, PA has totaled 498 points, 175 assists and 158 rebounds going into her final year.  

Younger sister Morgan made an impact in her first year as a Cougar and aims to continue that success in her sophomore year.  

The Mid Valley graduate tallied 93 points, 51 assists and 36 rebounds last year.  

She tallied a season-high 17 points in a win over to clinch Misericordia’s fourth consecutive postseason berth.  

The daughters of Brian and Lee Ann Haefele, Erica is an occupational therapy major while Morgan is studying biology/physical therapy.
