Misericordia University Athletics

Sarah Journey is a junior on the Misericordia University women’s volleyball team. She is from Lititz, Pennsylvania and attended Manheim Township High School.

As a libero/defensive specialist, Journey has been an impactful player for the Cougars. She has appeared in all 26 of the team’s matches while helping the Cougars to a 21-5 record.

She leads the team and the MAC Freedom with 63 aces this season, including a season-high eight in a win over Mount Aloysius.

She had 14 of her 150 digs against DeSales University in a MAC Freedom tilt, October 1.

As a sophomore, she saw action in 21 matches and recorded 28 digs.

As a first year she saw action in 19 matches and had 31 digs while earning a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

The Cougars are tied for fourth in the MAC Freedom with a 3-2 record heading into Tuesday night’s match at Arcadia.
