Misericordia University Athletics

Alyssa Schwarz is a sophomore nursing major at Misericordia University.

She is a native of Belle Mead, NJ and a graduate of Montgomery High School where she earned three letters in winter and spring track.

She is a member of the track & field and cross country teams at Misericordia.

Most recently, she helped the MU women’s cross country team capture its second consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference championship.

Schwarz ran 24:37.84 to finish 18^th overall and earn second-team All-MAC honors.

Most importantly, as MU’s sixth finisher, she displaced the number five runner from DeSales which helped the Cougars clinch the team title, 45-49.

She was part of the 4x800m relay team that finished third at the 2015 MAC Track & Field championships.
