The Misericordia University swim teams had an easy time defeating Messiah Friday night in the school's first ever visit to Dallas. The women's team improved to 3-1 with the 124-70 win.
Messiah, in its first season with a swim program, came to the Anderson Center looking for their its first win.

Laura Rineheimer and
Amanda McHugh opened the meet with a first place finish in the 200 Medley Relay. They notched the win with a 1:58:00 mark—seven seconds better than second place.
Trent recorded a win in 200 IM with a 2:20.03 mark, and McHugh took the 50 Freestyle in 26.38.
Abby Kocon had the stamina to finish first in the 1000 Freestyle at 11:43.93, and
Michelle Lacroce had the speed to take the 100 Butterfly at 1:03.03.
At meet's end, Messiah finished first in just three events--the final three of the meet.
The Cougars host Stevens Tech next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
